Charging - Screen Remains On

Can the device be "off" while charging? The unit powers up when connected and will not power down unless USB is disconnected. I would love to leave overnight to charge but I don't want to wear down the display.

Unfortunately at this point the device must remain "on" to charge

This has been made aware to the programmers and we will do our best to resolve this in our next firmware release
