Abandonware?

It has been a couple years since any software updates. Are there any plans to expand the software or is it locked now?

There are still a lot of new planned features we will be adding. IQ Tester development has slowed down due to other IQ device firmware updates and development.
A new firmware release is on the way - there are some things left to be fixed and tested before it is ready.

As we're coming into the tail of the year, Is there going to be any early Christmas presents to be looking forward too? Maybe something in the new year?

There will be some early Christmas presents to be looking forward to. About 30 changelog entries in size.
