Installing new boot loader instructions issue
Posted: Fri Sep 18, 2020 4:26 pm
In the instructions it says "
Prepare for bootloader update
Close all applications running on PC and connect the device to a computer with a USB cable
Wait few seconds for USB device to be recognized in Explorer (e.g., USB Drive (E:))
Windows 10 should install driver automatically. Older versions of Windows might require manual driver installation. To manually install drivers
Download "TesterBootloaderDFU_drivers.zip" and extract the files to your desktop
Right-click "boot_usb.inf" and select "Install"
Update bootloader by running "TesterBootloaderDFU_v1.2.exe"
The program will automatically find the device and update bootloader "
It would not mount as a disk for me until AFTER I ran the "TesterBootloaderDFU_v1.2.exe" I spent 20 mins rather confused and thinking I had bricked my tester ,
Dunno if this was just me for some reason or the instructions are off a bit ,
