Is version 0.63 still the latest release software?

I ask because i see there are different versions mentioned in the suggestions forum about when particular features could be released.

Yeah I’m a bit sad development has slowed down from my perspective. ..

Would certainly be nice to see the next version soon. Lots of potential in these, but still missing some key functionality.

0.6.3b is currently the latest official version.

The next release will be out in february.
Most of the main features that have not been added yet will be added in the next release.
The next release will also include many stability and useablility improvements.

For the first 2020 release, most of the official IQTester functions will be added, but the feature requests from the Suggestions thread will only be added after the first 2020 release.

For the next version there are a lot of updates being done to the core firmware functions and it is taking a lot more time to finish than expected.
After these updates, future releases should take a lot less time to get finished.

Is there an ETA on the next release?

Unfortunately the last ETA was not as precise as we expected. The rough ETA was supposed to be at week 3 of this month, but right now it looks like I will not be able to finish everything by then.

Very sorry about the long wait;
I will try to keep this thread updated if there are any more big ETA changes.

Been over a year now but I think that COVID is a factor here.

We are getting very close to the next release.
The main reason for the release taking so long was only one programmer working on the project. Now we have more.
A lot of very big changes had to be made for us to be able to add new features, fix old bugs and improve performance and usability. This process took a lot longer than expected.

Right now we are not able to give a very precise estimate, but the next release will most likely be out in less than 2 months.
