Unit frozen

Post by Ryan.gottlieb » Tue Oct 13, 2020 11:52 am

Was running ping responder, backed out to the ethernet menu and the unit froze on firmware 1.0.1, however I can not get the unit to reboot, turn off, or do anything else.

Only thing I can think of is to let it drain the battery to 0% to reset.

Holding outside left and right got it to power off.

To recreate the bug,

Had IQ Tester on small network with a computer and 2 other sACN devices, Had computer ping IQ tester, went into ping Responder, saw incoming pings, left screen on IQ tester BEFORE ending ping command on PC. Causes a crash, 75% of the time, a red box with a crash alert shows, 25% it just locks up.

If you stop incoming pings before leaving menu, no crash.
