Feature suggestions via Tyler Roach at Eclipse Creativity, Inc.

Are the following a planned functions or will they be available for future releases?

1. Power Over Ethernet (PoE) Tester
2. When linking to a managed switch, can the tester get VLAN information, switch name, and port information? (CDP/LLDP/EDP)
3. Test if DHCP server can provide a valid IP address?
4. Could the tester ping a gateway router? Or a Cloud service via internet or website?
5. Export detailed test results on mobile device or laptop? Any plans for Wi-Fi access?

In our IQ Tester, we can add support for the majority of these functions

Some we are currently planning to implement incrementally - others will be added near or after release of our version 1 software (currently 0.5tc2 at the time of writing)

The only thing we will not be supporting are wi-fi exportation of data via an app or mobile device

The IQ Tester is designed to be a standalone, handheld product that will read out pertinent information on its own screen
