I just received my ProPlex IQ Tester LV and love it. So far, I've been using Chauvet RDM2go and IQ Tester is just so much more capable. However, I'm missing one feature which I hope would be super easy to implement:
RDM2go calls it "Dimmer Test". It basically sets all 512 channels to 0. It then allows you to step through each channel (up/down for single increments, long pressing up/down for rapid auto-incrementing) sending out 255 on the current channel. At any given time, only one channels is at 255 while all others are at 0.
We do use this frequently on larger LED/pixel rigs to identify which channels are used (e.g. for RGB). It's super helpful.
Any chance we will see this in any future update? If there is a better place for feature requests, I'd be happy to repeat my suggestion there.
The one missing feature: "Dimmer Test"

Hello!
We do have a couple of methods for quick channel checker test similar to what you are describing
In any DMX Output Config window you can select a "Source" - in this case you would select any Scene and press the "Edit" button. Then press "Select Editor" and choose what best fits your situation
For example, if you have several RGB pixel fixtures in the rig - you would use RGB editor, then define a start address and mode
In the middle of the editor you will see level bars and just below that you will find the parameter for defining how to group pixels and control them, as well as paging soft buttons << and >> to cycle between different pixels. The hard <left> and <right> buttons will do the same thing after pressing the center button to enable button command
Pixel control options:
One last command is that pressing the <up> and <down> button together is a shortcut to 100% - press them again to shortcut to 0%
Once you are set up, here are some methods I like for quick channel check:

Pixel control options:
- All - every pixel color (AKA every 3rd channel) will react to level changes simultaneously
- Single Pixel (clear) - when cycling through pixels, previous levels will return to zero
- Single Pixel (add) - when cycling through pixels, previous levels will maintain the last level
One last command is that pressing the <up> and <down> button together is a shortcut to 100% - press them again to shortcut to 0%
Once you are set up, here are some methods I like for quick channel check:
- Method 1 - one color, one pixel
- Set the pixel to Single (clear)
- Press the center button and highlight the "R" fader
- press <up> and <down> button together to bring up the "R" level to 100%
- press center button again to disable button command, then use paging soft button >> to cycle between all pixels and test Red
- Repeat for Blue and Green
- Method 2 - all colors, pixel-by-pixel
- Set the pixel to Single (clear)
- Press the center button and highlight the "R" fader
- press <up> and <down> button together to bring up the "R" level to 100%
- Check visually, then press <up> and <down> button together to bring up the "R" back down to 0%
- press the <right> button to cycle to the next color
- Press <up> and <down> button together to bring up the level to 100% for Green, and then again to bring it back to 0%
- Repeat the process to move through all colors for all pixels

Re: The one missing feature: "Dimmer Test"
Thanks, Logan, this is 99% exactly what I am looking for and thank you for taking the time to describe it so exhaustively. Perfect "customer support".
There is only one enhancement request I'd have: Right now, when stepping (or running) through channels by pressing << or >>, the display does not indicate the current DMX address I'm at. Instead, it keeps indicating the fixed start address at the top of the screen.
Of course I can do the math myself, but it would be awesome if it would indicate start address/current address, like 1/217 or something. Do you agree? And is this the right place for me to make a feature request like this, or should I address it more formally to the support email?

This forum is fine, no worries.
Depending on the nature or complexity of requests, we may be able to add it in with a future firmware release. Let me ping our engineers and see
