Will the IQ Tester be able to select a manufacturer's fixture from a database and load in the DMX profile information?
This would make it easier to control single fixtures via their higher-channel personalities, so that you wouldn't have to remember what channel does what for testing purposes
This especially true now that some fixtures can require almost an universe of DMX channels for control and it can be time-consuming to keep referring back to a printed DMX Channel Chart

Re: Clearwing Suggestion - Fixture Personality Storage
This is a Planned feature
We intend to include a Fixture Library what will allow you to select fixture model, set start address and count
You will also be able to select parameters of these fixtures and send DMX values to the corresponding channels
This should eliminate the need for reference chart

I would love this feature. To be able to gang attributes of the same model of light would be great for testing. Is a fixture library with this functionality still in development?

Hi Folks, this is still on our radar, we are just figuring out how best to incorporate it. Thanks for your patience!

Just a suggestion but it would be amazing if a format like the xml files that MA uses or GDTF would be supported so that you can easily import your own fixtures or even some from libraries.
