Re: RDM Discovery not working
Is it possible to set the reply time higher? The minimum Discovery -> Discovery Response time is defined as 176µs Ref: [ANSI E1.20 2010 RDM Spec. Table 3-2] The IQTester should be able to receive replies instantly after sending the Discovery packet, but there might be a hardware timing limitation or...

Re: RDM Discovery not working
The IQTester not being able to discover a single connected responder is something new. Does the responder reply to the discovery packets that are sent from the tester? If so, does the device count number in the IQTesters [RDM Device List] window go up to 1 or does it stay at "0"/"-" (Press the middl...

Re: RDM Discovery not working
Hello Right now the only known problem with RDM is ACK_TIMER replies not being processed correctly. Was there only one or more than one RDM responder connected to the IQTester when trying to discover the dimmer? There was a problem with RDM discovery in version 0.5 related to RDM discovery branches ...

Re: DMX Thru Range
Hello Right now (version 0.6.3) it is not possible to set a value for all channels at once. A "thru" range option should be added in version 0.8 It is possible to keep transmitting DMX and exit edit mode: 1. Open the DMX-OUT window 2. Enter edit mode with the middle button and set channel values 3. ...

Re: Protocol display
It seems like the IQTester is not receiving multicast packets from MANet2 and sACN when connected to the system through a network switch. MANet2 detection depends on the IQTester being able to receive packets from the MA2 multicast groups. Same for sACN if multicast addressing is used. This is happe...

Re: RDM crashing
After some deeper testing, I noticed that the OLA RDM dummy device's replies to RDM commands are a type of reply that is not yet supported by the IQ Tester (version 0.6.3 at the time of writing). Due to a bug in the IQ Tester firmware(<=v0.6.3), the lack of support for this type of reply is causing ...
